Academic Excellence with a Biblical Foundation
At Maricopa Christian Academy, education goes beyond textbooks and test scores—it’s about equipping students with a Christ-centered worldview and a lifelong love of learning. From Kindergarten through 12th grade, our academic program is built on the belief that all truth is God’s truth.
We integrate Scripture into every subject, helping students understand the world through the lens of God’s Word. Whether they’re learning long division, writing an essay, conducting a science experiment, or analyzing historical events, students are continually reminded that Jesus is Lord over every area of life.
Our academic program emphasizes:
-
Strong literacy and communication skills through reading, writing, grammar, and public speaking
-
Mathematical understanding and critical thinking from foundational skills to higher-level problem solving
-
Scientific exploration that fosters curiosity while reinforcing God’s design in creation
-
History and social studies with a Biblical perspective, teaching students to recognize God’s sovereignty throughout time
-
College and career readiness in high school, including elective options, practical skills, and mentorship opportunities
With small class sizes and a nurturing environment, students are encouraged to ask big questions, think deeply, and grow in both knowledge and wisdom. Our goal is to prepare students not just for college or careers, but for a life of purpose and impact in God’s Kingdom.
Christ Focused
Everything we do is focused on Christ. Of course, our Bible teaching is really, really focused on Christ. The core of all Bible instruction is the daily readings straight from the Bible in all the grades. Everything we use to instruct with, the daily individual goals and the expected daily outcomes, are all focused on developing each uniquely created student made in the image of God.
Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible is the written word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error in the original manuscripts. The Bible is the revelation of God’s truth and is infallible and authoritative in all matters of faith and practice. We believe in the Holy Trinity. There is one God, who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe that all are sinners and totally unable to save themselves from God’s displeasure, except by His mercy. We believe that salvation is by God alone as He sovereignly chooses those He will save. We believe His choice is based on His grace, not on any human individual merit, or foreseen faith. We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who through His perfect life and sacrificial death atoned for the sins of all who will trust in Him, alone, for salvation. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells God’s people and gives them the strength and wisdom to trust Christ and follow Him. We believe that Jesus will return, bodily and visibly, to judge all mankind and to receive His people to Himself.
