A big thank you to Lisa and Angelica and their dance troupe from Grand Canyon University. Their performance focused on the ecosystem in a nonwoke way. Afterwards, the students joined the GCU dancers in learning how to perform interpretive dance.
During the performance, my kindergarten and first-grade girls gasped when the dancers lifted one of their own into the air. The GCU students were very kind and warm towards our students.
We look forward to experiencing the theater department at GCU at the end of March with a field trip to their westside campus.
