Congratulations on Getting to the State Level

After writing a winning essay for the Patriot's Pen contest sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars that allowed him to be recognized as a first-place winner here in Maricopa and also at the county level for the Pinal County VFW Posts, Drake Amerman came away from the state level competition with fourth place.

Drake and his dad enjoyed a nice dinner and an award at the presentation.
