Maricopa Christian Academy and Our First Graduate (Next Year)

Next year we have our first graduating class made up of one student who has attended our school for the past three years. Three other students in ninth grade and one in tenth make up the rest of our present high school. Three more students should move up from eighth grade for a possible count of eight high school students so far for the 2024-2025 school year.

The graduation celebration will be a unique event for our Maricopa Christian Academy community. We do not have a kindergarten graduation, elementary send-off, or even an end-of-junior-high assembly. We try to make high school graduation personal and special. Like almost all we do here, it is individualized. Graduating high school is a big deal. The end of one journey and the beginning of a new one.

Graduation ceremonies begin with a sit-down meal shared by the high school instructors, parents and students. After the plates have been removed, the instructors and coaches share special comments and unique moments about each graduate. One at a time, with photos on the wall projected, each student is presented to the Maricopa Christian Academy community as the unique person he or she is made in the image of God.

Each student's presentation is completed with a plaque presented with a Bible verse that the staff feels best fits the graduate.

The evening is moved to the auditorium where the formal presentation is happening. Friends, family and guests are in attendance. A final blessing is presented by the principal

A small high school presents a unique, caring environment with increased opportunities to support and build up all of our students.

Praise God through whom all blessings flow.
